One Washington has entered into an exciting new phase - the first steps to solution procurement. On September 12, 2018 the Program hosted a kick-off session at the Helen Sommers Building and online. Over 300 finance, procurement and technical staff to participated in the kick-off. The kick-off was launched prior to the November 2018 Program reset. Now that budget, HR and payroll functions will be implemented with finance and procurement the Program will reach out to budget, HR and payroll stakeholders during 2019 to develop and review business capabilities.
The kick-off session was also a prerequisite for finance and procurement employees assigned by their agency to participate in capabilities workshops scheduled to begin in October. In those workshops agencies collaboratively identifed the business capabilities that are common across the state enterprise and which will be used in the competitive procurement process.
