About the Washington State All-Payer Claims Database

The WA-APCD is a legislatively-directed program to collect all medical claims, pharmacy claims, and dental claims from private and public payers, with data from all settings of care that permit the systematic analysis of health care delivery. The database is used to allow the public to search over 100 procedures and treatments for cost information and examine quality ratings of providers and hospitals, in the online tool Washington HealthCareCompare.
