Washington’s Priorities

Washington state is moving toward sustainability through many different programs. Although the programs come under different headings, they interconnect and affect each other. Examples of sustainability programs provided by the state are listed below.

In addition to the programmatic work, state agencies are moving to implement sustainability practices internally. The purpose of this website is to assist state agencies make the transition to sustainable state government.
