Grant Information

The Washington Commission for National and Community Service (WCNCS) helps improve lives, strengthen communities, and foster civic engagement through opportunities to serve and volunteer. This is accomplished through partnerships with public or private nonprofit organizations, including labor organizations; faith-based and other community organizations; institutions of higher education; government entities within states or territories (e.g., cities, counties); Indian Tribes; partnerships or consortia.

The 2009-10 Request for Grant Applications (RFGA) is now available. The deadline to submit a letter of intent is September 26, 2008. The deadline for applications to be submitted is November 7, 2008. Please read Amendment No. 1 and the introduction to the RFGA carefully before deciding to apply.
