Common Infrastructure
Having common standards and approaches in place when the Roadmap implementation begins will make the project easier. If agencies adopt common approaches, they could better leverage enterprise supplied common functionality and design line-of-business systems that focus on core missions and distinct needs.
The Roadmap is currently working to bring the Department of Transportation, Utilities and Transportation Commission, and Department of Fish and Wildlife into the enterprise active directory, exchange mail service and State Government Network (SGN).
