April 1 official population estimates
The Office of Financial Management's (OFM) April 1 population determinations are used in many programs for revenue distribution and for program administration. This site and the annexations and municipal boundary changes site contain the most current OFM official figures for program administration and funding.
April 1, 2011 press release and data products
Please note that OFM's 2011 population estimates are based on Census 2010 results or 2010 special censuses conducted by cities. The decennial census counts may not match federal census values because OFM uses city boundaries that include annexations that occurred from January 2, 2010 to April 1, 2010. The decennial counts are from the Public Law 94-171 file. OFM's April 1, 2011, population estimates are based on OFM adjusted Census 2010 values.
