Official April 1, 2009 Population Estimates
Released June 29, 2009
Official April 1, 2009 Population Estimates: These population estimates are based on the 2000 federal census results or 2000 special censuses conducted by cities. Counts may not match 2000 federal census counts because city boundaries include annexations between the January 1, 2000 (federal census count boundaries) and the April 1, 2000 city boundaries used by the Office of Financial Management (OFM).
For more information regarding April 1 estimates, see Population Estimates: Process, Methods, and Accuracy.
If you are a city/town interested in conducting a census in lieu of a population estimate, see April 1 Estimates Forms and Communications.
