Initiatives
ESSB 5931 identified several critical initiatives for the OCIO to complete in the next several months and ongoing. Among these are the State Data Center Migration Plan, the State Strategic Plan, and Enterprise Architecture for Washington state government.
When defining the role and the objectives of the OCIO, the State Legislature identified several distinct initiatives to the office. These initiatives, including the State IT Strategic Plan and the Business and Migration Plan for the new State Data Center, are in accordance with the overall objectives of the OCIO.
