AGENCY RETURN ADDRESS FOR INSERTED WARRANTS!
This is to inform all Agency Fiscal Managers about the new AFRS feature that will be of benefit to all agencies and vendors. OFM can now print your agency's return mailing address on vendor remittance advices for all inserted warrants you send out. The return address feature is controlled by batch type. Each agency can establish a default return address (preferably your agency's main fiscal office) for each batch type. However, you can also request that a different return address be used for specific batch types. Your agency return address feature will provide a quicker turnaround time for undeliverable warrants. The warrant will now go directly back to the agency instead of to OFM and then routed to the agency.
If there are Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT - direct deposit) payments to one statewide vendor from multiple agencies or multiple divisions within an agency the return address will default to the current OFM address.
OFM will maintain the return address functionality. Should you have changes to your address, please ensure that OFM is notified so that warrants and remittances can be returned to the proper address.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO TO ACTIVATE THIS FEATURE?
We would like each agency to provide OFM with the office name and mailing address of where you would like the undeliverable warrants and/or Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT - direct deposit) remittance advices to be returned to.
Please fill out the Return Address Form and send it to the OFM vendor help desk at:
fax: 360-664-3363
email: vendorhelpdesk@ofm.wa.gov
If you have questions about this feature, please call the vendor help desk at 360-664-7779.
