4SSI cases exclude a small number of cases supported only by federal funds. As of July 2002 (FY 2003), due to the change in federal requirements, the majority of the state-paid SSI has been eliminated. The SSI payments are paid by federal funds.
5Includes General Assistance, Unemployable (GA-U); General Assistance, Expedited Medical (GA-X); and Children in guardian or custodial care (GH-H). GH-H moved to TANF on 7/1/2000. Excludes Alcoholism and Drug Addiction Treatment and Support Act (ADATSA).
6Energy Assistance Program runs from October to June.  Average cases based on nine months.  Data no longer provided because services are from CTED, a separate entity from DSHS.
