Human Services
Great societies are judged on how they treat their most vulnerable–children, people with disabilities, and seniors. Governor Gregoire believes that we must treat Washington’s most vulnerable people with dignity, honesty and respect.
Governor Gregoire will maintain and improve the state safety net to protect our most vulnerable individuals, invest in high-quality services and strengthen the services that support people in achieving greater self-sufficiency.
