Description:
For both 2006 and 2007, about two thirds of state employees responding to a survey indicate that they usually or always have the tools and resources needed to do their job effectively.
The data for this measure come from an annual state employee survey administered by the state Department of Personnel. State employees took this survey in 2006 and 2007. Respondents are asked to indicate the extent of their agreement with the following question, "I have the tools and resources I need to do my job effectively."
